Wheat Harvest 2012

Hannah just loves touching Cameron - it's so so cute
On our way to the field
so beautiful seeing Cameron run around in the golden wheat
Cameron found a tire gauge in the car and decided he needed to "fix" everything with it
He climbed around all over the suburban - had such a blast
Such cute kids - Cameron watching the combine unload in the truck
Cameron took apart the sandwich only ate the cheese & bread
Beautiful Hannah & Adorable Cameron
David & Jim talking business - Cameron and I getting out of the combine after his first combine ride. It was good, but it did make me miss my dad a lot simply because I always imagined that my dad would be with us.

Cameron hugging & kissing his cousin - love seeing their relationship grow
After being in the field, we got a late start driving back to Wichita. He was asleep within the first 5 minutes & his head just got lower & lower the farther along we went.

5 Wonderful Years of Marriage

May 26, 2012 was our 5th Anniversary. So we wanted to celebrate but in our simple way.
I got up and made a breakfast casserole with english muffins while Daniel made coffee.
It was yummy although it took longer than I hoped. (And by the way I got my hair cut - 7 inches)
My mom came up and watched Cameron so we could go on a date. Went to see "The Avengers" and got frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf. I put only really "healthy" things in my yogurt - lots of m&m's, lots of cookie dough, and a little graham cracker crumbs. It was so good.
Then last weekend Cameron stayed in Winfield with my family and Daniel and I headed to KC just for a couple of nights. Of course, we fueled up with Sonic before we headed that way.

We got up there around 7:00 PM, so we got some yummy pizza at Minsky's. The McSpadden's had introduced us to this goodness. And yes there is a slice of bacon on each piece of pizza.
After pizza, we went to see Brian & Bree at their house and just hung out for a while which was so nice because it had been a long time since we'd seen them.
The next morning we got up and ready to go shopping.
So we grabbed some coffee and headed to the Oak Park mall to shop. Neither of us are big shoppers but it was fun to walk around and just hang out. In the evening we got ready and walked from our hotel down to the Plaza.
We shared a dish at the Cheesecake Factory. So yummy and I got a strawberry margarita also yummy.

Then after we walked around the plaza for a couple of hours we went back to the Cheesecake Factory to get cheesecake. Daniel got Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake and I tried Tiramisu Cheesecake. It was so delicious, if only I could have eaten it all. But so so good.
Then in the morning we walked down to the plaza again and got coffee and a muffin.
Then walked back and checked out of the hotel and stopped at Oklahoma Joe's for lunch. And it was so so good. Daniel got burnt ends and I got pulled pork sandwich, and it was amazing. The McSpadden's also introduced this to us and we love it, especially Daniel.

So basically we went to KC and ate a lot of food. But it was fun and good times for Daniel and I. We missed Cameron but it was great for us to have a little time together.
